In short: we collect only what we need to serve you, we don't sell, rent, or lease your personal data, and you can ask us to see, correct, or delete it.

Information we collect

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully, and we seek to be transparent about our privacy practices.

We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so, for example to provide our services, to communicate with you, or to improve our services. We collect it when you provide it to us (through a donation, a purchase, a form, or being a ministry partner), automatically through your use of our services, and from outside sources.

We may use your information to:

• Administer your purchase or donation, confirm receipt, and say thank you
• Provide the services, activities, or information you asked for, including event and volunteering information
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, and keep a record of your relationship with us
• Tell you about our ministry, campaigns, events, and services, and manage your communication preferences

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to third parties for marketing. We may share information with our Ministry Partners and others who help us manage our relationship with you and provide ministry products and services.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the European GDPR), you may request access to, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data, and object to or limit how we use it. EU individuals may also complain to a government supervisory authority. If you ask us not to contact you or to delete your data, we keep basic information so we don't contact you again by mistake.

Cookies and similar technology

A cookie is a string of information a website stores on your computer, which your browser provides each time you return. Pixel tags are small blocks of code on websites and emails. CEF uses cookies and pixel tags to understand visitors, usage, and preferences, measure email campaigns, and deliver ads. Third-party sites you visit from ours, including social networks, may set their own cookies under their own policies. You can set your browser to reject cookies, though some features may not work.

Security

No online service is 100 percent secure, but we work hard to protect information about you against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction.

Children's online privacy

We are concerned about the privacy of young children and do not collect more personal information than is reasonably necessary for them to take part in our activities. We encourage parents to be involved with their child's internet use.
