About Good News Club

What is Good News Club?
Good News Club (GNC) is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, and churches, with parent or guardian permission. Each club includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an opportunity for children to trust the Lord Jesus as Savior, plus strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. All children are encouraged to attend a local church.
Who teaches?
Christians who are concerned for boys and girls volunteer their time and energy. They are trained by Child Evangelism Fellowship to run a club that is exciting and informative, sign the CEF Statement of Faith, and agree to abide by CEF policies. Every adult is screened according to our child protection policy.
Teaching the Bible in a public school, really?
Yes! In 2001 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Good News Club v. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs can meet in public schools after school hours on the same terms as other community groups. Children attend only with their parents' permission.

J You Connection (JYC)
JYC is an exciting, fun-filled weekly club for students who want to learn more about the Bible: a place for middle-schoolers and young teens to enjoy faith, fun, and friends. Parents are welcome to attend with their student.
At JYC you will:
- Discuss the truth about things that really matter, like hope, faith, salvation, joy, love, and courage
- Learn more about Jesus Christ and His awesome Father in Heaven
- Build genuine friendships, share meaningful music, and have crazy fun during game time
JYC is a safe place with leaders who care about you now and for your future. JYC leaders are carefully screened as required by the CEF child protection policy. Locations coming soon.
